Our test shoot- Plan

 We planned our test shoot for the week, we messaged our group on the chat we created using Whatsapp and let them know a few days in advance that we had planned a test shoot with them for Monday, and told them to wear outfits which they think fit the theme and genre of our piece, which meant they showed up wearing leather, fish-net tights, etc. All of this from their own closet. This gave us a good idea of what we liked to see each band member in, and allowed the band members themselves to have another chance to get to know each other and build some personal dynamics. 

We booked the armadillo room 4 days in advance and let the band know early so they could have time to listen to the song again over the weekend and re-fresh on the lyrics or chords. We planned to split the work, since I was unable to attend the shoot itself, I planned to edit the shoot together while the rest of the team would film and direct the band on that Monday. 

We put together a timeline and planned to shoot according to this, so when we look back on it, it would look similar to the actual video. This will give us a good idea of what works and what doesn't, and what we really like, depending on the outcome.
